This first sermon in our Ruth Series introduces the Book of Ruth by first exploring the dark and morally degenerate period of the Judges, where chaos reigned. In contrast to the surrounding chaos of the times, the Book of Ruth is presented as a beacon of faithfulness in dark times, highlighting the unwavering loyalty of Ruth and the enduring faithfulness of God. As we move though this study, we will see how the events of Ruth ultimately lead to the lineage of King David and Jesus!
